The Back Story

Lets' just say, I've been around.
I used to help the corporate giants rule the world. Now I word for Jack, selling beans
When I'm not writing books about capitalism and climate change I provide Research, Insight and Strategy for well-meaning brand.
"Knowledge is power. The kind of work Graham does is hard to find anywhere else."
Sir John Hegarty

Don't be afraid
I've always been somewhat unorthodox. Unless you're noticed everything else is irrelevant
These are images from the brochure I put out when I first went out on my own.

My insights helped develop some of the most iconic advertising of the 1990's
The first TV advert in the famous long running 'Reassuringly Expensive' campaign series for Stella Artois aired in 1991. Entitled Jacques de Florette, it was based off a period drama Jean de Florette, and featured a flower seller using his wares to pay for a pint of the lager.

The agency I founded (Informer) started small in a loft in Soho in 1994

By the time we'd finished, we were big in the UK & USA
With offices in London / New York / Miami

Perhaps the work I was most proud of was working with the American Legacy Foundation (nonprofit tobacco control organisation) & Crispin Porter Bogusky
The campaign exposes tobacco industry malpractice.
It was named as one of the top 10 ad campaigns of the 21st century by AdAge.

I then went with my partner to NYC where I was Planning Director of a Y&R ad agency on Madison Avenue.
We married at Niagara Falls, had 2 more kids and returned to the UK to live a quieter, saner life where we could watch the family grow and I didn't need to get on planes.
(and, yes, my wife is a unicorn)

For the past 15 years I've been working with large, small and medium-sized companies on their strategic problems
-Working on workforce and recruitment issues with Screwfix
-Helping develop the Wembley Park property development with Quintain
-Travelled the world with Suntory developing new whisky brands
- And developing highly effective advertising campaign with Christopher Ward watches
-If this isn't the response you want from your advertising, I don't know what is
